Yesterday was Friday the 13th. I cut my finger. A knife-slip sliced saucily through a tendon. The emergency room gave me six stitches. I’m minus a cup or two of blood. If I wasn’t superstitious (paraskavedekatriaphobiatic) before, I am now.
