Fashion Faux Pas – The Muumuu

It was Al Bundy on the television show Married With Children that ruined it. He burned into the American consciousness the impression that only fat women wear muumuus. In reality, the muumuu is comfortable to wear in hot weather because it hangs loosely from the shoulders, much like the roomy Hawaiian shirt for men.

People who think they don’t photograph well have nobody to blame other than themselves. There is an art to looking good in front of the camera. That is why models are told to practice their poses in front of a mirror. Practice makes perfect.

I never have been a fan of combat pants. Sure, sometimes someone catches my attention wearing them, but it is never the pants themselves that attract me.

They tell me that it all was too rapid. That’s not true between Nicolas and me. It didn’t happen rapidly. It was immediate… I know you don’t get married in an instant and that even more, we were in the spotlight. But lovers, you know, have their own sense of time… I wished to marry him right away. I felt that with him nothing bad could happen, Nicolas isn’t addicted to power and that’s what makes him courageous. I love being with him more than anything.
