My final exam is this week. I also have to do a final project incorporating everything I’ve learned (or should have learned) in Microsoft Office Professional 2010. I’m almost finished. Yay! I haven’t decided whether to take classes this fall or not, but I need to decide tout de suite because fall semester starts in two weeks.
You can’t just beat a team, you have to leave a lasting impression in their minds so they never want to see you again.
Quotation from Mia Hamm
The higher we soar, the smaller we appear to those who cannot fly.
Quotation from Friedrich Nietzsche

I LOVE your comic today! Hell yeah
Don’t worry, you’re way in front of everyone else per head of population.
You Rock, So I say Let’s GEt UP and Dance….
We do deserve long hot showers. We’re Americans. Everyone hates us until they need us. You want us? Give us showers.
i need a very cold shower right about now.
This gave me my first giggle of the day.. thanks.
One of the main reasons China is using so much more energy is that they’re now the ones making most of our useless stuff. Of course, the workers there don’t get paid much and are often virtual prisoners in the factories that employ them so they get to bathe much less often. That must be a plus on somebody’s cost benefit analysis.
Today’s photograph and post are as terrific as always. Good luck with the finals.
Terrific post!! We all want so much..no matter what the cost!!!
Well, at least we still remain a proud leader in one area: the prison population. Here is from Wiki:
“The United States has the highest documented incarceration rate in the world. The U.S. incarceration rate on December 31, 2008 was 754 inmates per 100,000 U.S. residents, or 0.75%. The USA also has the highest total documented prison and jail population in the world”.
Wish you luck with the exam, Ms. Sera. What’s next?
Congratulations on almost completing your Microsoft course. Hopefully the growing awareness to use less energy per capita will counteract inevitable growth in the developing world as urbanization continues unabated. But If China is to replicate western energy usages per capita going forward we are in dire straits. Nietzsche long ago In ‘Twilight of the idols’ claimed the hollower be our idols the greater our eternal faith in them.
Best wishes
YAY!!!!!! graduation is imminent, that seemed to go by so fast, i guess it’s coz i was so busy, it prolly didn’t go by quite so fast for you lol… ok ok i will not put a candle in my little pumpkin’s mouth, fun killer lol
are you leaving that error message there coz it’s so cool to divide people’s avatars by zero? lol… i’m really happy for you girl, you went out there and you conquered… yipppeeee!!!!
Three times brilliant: The photograph, the toon, and I love your quotes!
Now your exam … perhaps brilliant as well? Good luck with it!!!!!!!!!!
… about the energy-issue. Got a new draft for a song on my blog that concerns itself with that issue. Might want to check it out. There is a also a uTube /a> version with images.
I hear our brains turn to mush if we don’t use them. Take the fall classes. If anything, your professors/classmates will inspire more cartoons, yes?
yes!!!!! what goes around comes around!!!!!!!!
fab as usual!!!
errrrrrrr ummmmmmm ‘scuse me…… that just might be MY water going down your drain in that long hot shower….. a lot of pollidiots (political idiots) here in Canada are selling our water over the border…… if everyone in China took long hot showers we’d be hearing a different tune.
brilliant , as always, Sera (maybe just a bit more than usual, but the bar is high)
and i’m certain you’ll be brilliant in your exams too. blow ‘em outa the water!!!!!
You will be awesome in that final. I can relate to weighing taking a break when I was working full time days and going to classes at night. I chose to take off a semester, but that gave me the energy to finish my degree, and my Dad and Cousin (who were both terminal) lived long enough to attend my Commencement Ceremony. Thumbs up for you!!!
Today’s comic got me to laugh out loud — love your sense of humor, and so true!
Good luck on your exams, I know you will do great
I’ve always wondered how China never surpassed the U.S. before. With their one billion or so people, what were they doing before this year? Eating in the dark???
Love your post today – but the comments were enlightening too. Strange folk, aren’t we.
i Know hahaha i’m never satisfied, somebody said they didn’t like it, that it was too busy, and that was enuff for me to change it since i was already disatisfied that i could only have one photo in it lolol… of course if you were blind, you wouldn’t know the difference, except some overly critical microsoft voice software would tell you my layout is too confusing to interpret lol
so i guess you don’t want a physics lecture from stephen hawking then? lol you made me laugh about the car’s father being a jar too, you really should be a night club comic haha
i’m sure the result of your exams will be not a cold shower ! Good luck Sera
cool shades..
china’s definitely the sleeping giant, they’ll soon surpass the world at everything..
Great composition and very funny
)) Love your sense of humor!! Good luck Sera! Best regards, Andrei.
Aww.. were it so? It means everyone is using more so far… but watch as China also leads the world in alternate energy (they’ll be there next year on solar).
but you really are so many in America!
LOL!! That is so funny!! Best of luck to you Sera!! A great post, wonderful picture and the Nietzsche quote is awesome! Actually BOTH are:)
I’m doing my part, I just moved to a dual monitor setup. Love the photo, the cityscape and river are almost monochrome and then the big puffy cloud of blond hits!
I try to keep my carbon footprint smaller than most cities.
