I had an embarrassment today. I was singing along to the Huff This! version of the Violent Femmes song Blister in the Sun when I pulled into my parking space at work. I was still singing when I turned my car off and opened the door. “I just want to feel you scream so fuuuck me.” Of course, that was the exact moment two construction workers walked by. Fuuuuck me! My face was bright red as I speed-walked the rest of the way to work.
Music is well said to be the speech of angels.
Quotation from Thomas Carlyle

I bet you looked totally angelic while you sang that line
lol how embarrissing
im allways getting caught out swearing at my sis, she brings it outa me lol
Be careful what you sing for!
Bet you made their day.

LOL!!!! Serves you right Sera!!!!:))
Today’s strip made me wonder what you’ve been using for a background on the previous strips. I was suprised to discover that I’d failed to notice the backgrounds.
ahhaha
OHH!!!
I thought for a second you were going to say it was your boss standing there. Life’s little embarrassments are pretty funny later on. Some of them take a while, but this is one that pretty much immediately became funny. Kvak Kvak.
I agree with Mark, at least it was strangers. You can just have a good laugh about it after your face stops turning red. Interesting choice of music to start the day
Nah you should have played it cool. Just smiled and walked on by like nothing at all was amiss. THAT would have made their day. *evil grin*
At least, it wasn’t your boss. Right? RIGHT???
i agree with Jim…. bet you made their day. they walked away saying to each other…. “she meant me….” “no way, she meant ME!” ;0) it’s funny. life is short. let’s laugh.
LOL! Well. At least you made them happy. Hahaha.
Excellent story Sera. We all have these little situations that will haunt us for the rest of our lives
Ah well, it was a lot better than being caught singing the On The Good Ship Lollipop.
Too funny is right. My face would be red, too, but then I’d get over it and start laughing. HA! I love the title!!
i had not heard that version of blister in the sun, but i’m so strung out lalala…. funny ass story tho, but your blog just exited the world of pg13 lol
do you have a sleep number bed? how do you find it? i heard they leak… plus i tried sleeping on an air mattress with foam on top and it didn’t work at all
ooh i had a beautyrest for like TWENTY years, then hubby started saying it made his back sore, we’re very lucky it didn’t ‘cocoon’ us in our sleep haha, you made me laugh and i just got out of bed, so that’s a neat trick
