“What happened to the chocolate?”
“I ate it. It was there for three days. You had as many opportunities to eat it as I did.”
Symptoms of chocolate toxicity include: hyper-excitability and hyper-irritability; increased heart rate, restlessness and urination; muscle tension and tremors. Complications include hypothermia, seizures, cardiac arrest, even death. Death can result from intoxication… No antidote exists for chocolate poisoning in a dog.
Quotation from VetInfo.com, My Dog Ate Chocolate: How Much is Toxic?
There’s no road map on how to raise a family; it’s always an enormous negotiation.
Quotation from Meryl Streep

my husband is good at offering me his chocolate, in those ways he’s far less selfish than i am
and LMAO!!!!!! about your comment on my site, i’ve always wondered why dogs have no navels lol never seen one born tho, perhaps that would solve the mystery, so that’s not coco’s navel, it’s her BUTT
but you’re right, her butt looks like hubby’s belly button, very observant of you!!!
lol matching navels does sound better, you are very associative
is that your tattoo???
Wow you touch on all the important stuff, no chocolate for dogs, I love dogs, I love chocolate in that order, so therefore I make darn sure that I eat all the chocolate immediately, all is fair in Love!!! brilliant again
That is a great tattoo; you have to have a long neck to pull that one off. On my neck that would be way up in the hair.
I like chocolate, but I’m picky. It has to be good chocolate. I used to work for Cadbury and got a lot of free chocolate there; unfortunately free chocolate is not enough of a reason to stay working for a company, so I left. Now I only get free chocolate when I see it in a bowl on somebody’s desk. Scarf!

I laughed (and I’m at the office so ooops). It totally sounds like the kind of conversation we have at home
Is that Winter?!
Beautiful Star, a beautiful place.
Meryl Streep lives about 20 miles from me, but I don’t dare to knock at her door.
But I do dare to eat chocolate, I don’t care about the associated complications.
yes our house is very peaceful, i’m usually sitting here in silence, and where our place is is very quiet… i want to move, but hopefully to another quiet house
I love chocolate.
Meryl Streep is one of my heroes so you can quote her any time, as far as I’m concerned. You always manage to hit the nail on the head…and I do NOT mind at all dying of chocolate. What a way to go.
I love the Meryl Streep quote. She’s one amazing woman!! And as for chocolate – not for dogs..for sure. But I can’t imagine my live without it (or without love..)
Thank goodness for chocolate.
Anticipation is a bitch. You think about how nice it will be to eat something when you get home only to find its gone. I really hate that. So i have disciplined myself to eat my share of something and then leave the rest to rot if its not eaten. If you let it go bad that’s your problem.
Scrolled back through the strips I missed. Your usual wit and to the point take on life I see and some nice top shots too.
Nothing fair in love, war or indeed chocolate. especially for the people who harvest the cocoa pods.
I love that tattoo. And there’s nothing fair about love – thank god!
Such a cool Tattoo, is it yours?, chocolate is always safe with me, sadly I am allergic to it
wow.. if it came from a book, then i guess it’s real? good thing i never fed my dog chocolates..
that’s a cool looking tat you got there too, goes well with the pigtails.. ;D
