Dear Mr. [******]
Thank you for your letter of March 3, 2010. I appreciate your concern regarding my personal life. No, I do not have financial stress, nor issues with job loss, medical problems, divorce or “other life events” that have impacted my ability to repay my auto loan with your company. I appreciate your generous offer to assist with budgeting, restructuring and/or consolidating my finances. That is very kind of you. But at present, I do not have any of those problems. *Knock on wood*
I think you lost my auto payment that was sent to you on February 25, 2010. You see, I have you on an automatic payment schedule through Billpay, so the payments are sent to you automatically each month. To date, that has never been a problem.
I guess you did not consider that maybe you might have lost my check someplace? Did you look behind your desk? Perchance, you credited my payment to somebody else’s account? Is it still in your in-box awaiting processing?
If you cannot find my check, please let me know and I will send you another one. ASAP.
Sincerely, Sera

Happy birthday to you Seraphine!
For the donkey you’ve nothing to do with monkeys!
Bon anniversaire!
BiZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
speaking of money problems, my dog was in a state of emergency tonight and i didn’t have the $100 to have her put down, so i had to beg the SPCA for help, and now my dog is dead…..

Oh, this struck a chord! All the letters and phone calls I’ve had to make to financial institutions re: my mother’s affairs… They are NEVER wrong until it turns out THEY ARE!
Happy Birthday to you!
(we used to sing “and a pinch to grow an inch” – was never keen on those pinches…)
Happy Birthday, Seraphine!
Happy Birthday.
I had those tassel earrings.
feliz cuplianos Sera. ups and downs.
Love your little bill-paying commentary – made me laugh!! And – happy birthday!!!
thank you for your words of sympathy sister…. it’s a very sad day in our house, hubby is sleeping with his bunched up shirt in his arms
well, wishing you a happy one, hope you have fun today..
Well, a huge Happy birthday wish is swimming across the water from me to you, Sera.
Ah yes, the joys of being hounded for money. A slightly different take, but after my mother in law dies, we were executors and everyone came out of the woodwork for money that she supposedly owed. One company sent us several nasty letters during our time of grief, hounding us for the princely sum of around $25 that mum had not paid because she happened to inconveniently die in the street in Canada that month!!
My wife wrote a letter to them with a cheqeue for the amount owed, and tore into them in such a way, that we kept a copy because it was both cutting, and hilarious. The money grabbing bastards.
The bastards! I hope they enjoyed your letter as much as I did. My husband got letters every two weeks for over a year because he overpaid a medical copay by $3. They never did send a check.
I love the beach picture and wish for you a very, very Happy Birthday. I’ve made a note of the date
I hope you have had the best Birthday ever.
Happy birthday. You are truly a special one of a kind lady. I am so glad to have you as a blog buddie.
In the spring –then maybe a fresh start,
Time enough to grow your sweet heart,
Who knows, changes may come soon!
Best wishes for Lenten birthday blooms.
My dear Sera is growing up.
Happy Birthday!
Shangri kuaile!
(means Happy Birthday in mandarin, of course. I wasn’t swearing at you).
I love your letter!
Happy Birthday, Sera. Seems like it was your day to write such lovely letter to our friends in banks. I think I am just going to copy paste for the next time I get one.
Happy Birthday, Seraphine. These tidbits of your life are just so cute and funny.
I love it.
Happy Birthday, van harte gefeliciteerd met jouw verjaardag….(yesterday I assume)
Just love your sense of humour great drwaings all the time and pictures too.
Do you make the drawings yourself too?
Fabulous.
First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Seraphine. Secondly, I used to wake up my son all the time with a variation of your song in the comic: “Good morning to you, you live in a zoo. But then so do monkeys, good morning to you.” It brings back many happy memories.
Thirdly, that’s the reassuring thing about Bllpay, I thought…to never worry about a payment being made or making it!!!
Now I hope you can have a great week!
Seraphine’s Birthday! This calls for a high kick after stepping out of a taxi cab! Of course, it would be cool for all of us to lease a tour bus and “just show up” to take you out on the town. Either way, Happy Birthday and lol!!!
)
It’s your birthday! Hope you have a fabulous day darlin’! xx
thank you for thinking of me Sarah, it means alot

Happy Birthday Sera!
i see no email!!!! panicks!!! i’ll go look in my spam folder
are you sending it to the email in my comment? because that’s the only one i have access to right now, my computer died
Happy birthday to you , dear Sera . You can find all (job , payment for your car, etc) but u’ll never lost your sense of humour and your sorcery
Joyeux anniversaire et je croise les doigts pour des jours meilleurs !
bisous
it’s not gone, i just can’t access it, coz my computer’s down, you can publish it, i trust your perfect taste
Few things give me quite as much pleasure as telling some idiot they obviously screwed up since i use auto payments. Plus the record in my account. It’s fairly amusing to listen to them squirm as they figure out they didn’t do their job well enough by simply checking the method of payments past.
happy birthday/ beautiful lines and colors games
Oh no! I missed your birthday!!! Hope it was a good one, and you have a fabulous year ahead!
Hey! I missed this. Your arrival on the planet some years ago was a really good thing. You are a unique, interesting, thoughtful, insightful, creative, compassionate soul. We need more of you…for many many years to come.
