Wouldn’t it be ironic if my imaginary friend is really my guardian angel?
It is somewhat of a revolving door. Children are nimble in coming up with these imaginary companions and sometimes we have a hard time keeping up with all of the ones a child has.
Quotation from Stephanie Carlson, Assistant Professor, University of Washington
One child said the [imaginary] friend put yogurt in her hair.
Another quotation from Stephanie Carlson

I find the idea of having an imaginary friend really foreign tho i admire the creativity behind creating such a friend.
i’d be in more trouble than usual if my imaginary friend was my guardian angel. hehe.
A beautiful photograph, Sera as the velvet trees perform a dance of seduction. I find that imaginery friends often let me down less than some of the so called real ones that I have had in my life.
i love your head image today
The donkey loves the first image!
Come on Sera!
Bonne journée! BiZZZZZZZZZ
At least it’s not a giant pink rabbit.
Nice top shot
When in pain and discomfit
Just wish you’re not alone
Because your guardian angel
Will come in dreams behold
To sprinkle you in star dust
So your hearts no longer cold !
best wishes
Don’t dismiss the possibility. My son had two imaginary friends who lived in the wall by his bed and he’s lived a charmed life.
Feel better soon, Sickie Sera!
Our imaginary friends are always so perfect, while the ones of this reality are mostly disappointing…( Love the picture with lovely light and greens…the moss on the trunks is a wonderful detail Sera!
i didn’t have an imaginary friend until i was in my thirties lol so i know what you mean, they can have humor ‘houston we have a problem, sera can’t move her toe’
i was far too serious as a child for blankie, companion stuffed animals and imaginary friends… i’m having my childhood NOW… and of course we don’t all have spectacles lol we don’t all have testicles either, it’s just something austin powers said when he made the sign of the cross, i didn’t write the script :p
Hey Sickie girl , what’s up ? Why sick ?
imaginary friend ? – Never .
imaginary lover? – maybe
I had an imaginary friend when I was little. It stopped being fun when I started getting punished for the bad things she would do, so I told her we couldn’t be friends anymore and she left.
She still shows up from time to time. She taunts me with aromas and makes me crave phantom foods. Right now, it’s hash browns.
My fantasy life was from books, i didn’t need an imaginary friend when i was young.
Maybe your imaginary playmate should just let you sleep.
it’s a funny guardian Angel !
Bien à toi !
I had an imaginary friend …. I didn’t even know if it was a boy or a girl xD Always used my imaginary friend to get some more candy… cuz my friend was also hungry :p Great artwork
I get tickled in the morning, the only way for me to get up. Otherwise, I’d stay in bed. But don’t tickle my feet, it’s not ticklish. Weird, eh?
There is nothing wrong with imaginary friends, as long as they are nice with you.
We’re looking out at mossy trees too but they’re not nearly so pretty as yours.
My imaginary friends have only grown more real as time goes by
I think the imaginary friends are no one else but we ourselves… just in different style, behavior, and attitude. Like the the one I see in the mirror looks much better then me. But we are a good team. He swears at me a lot though.
no no silly billy that picture was taken BEFORE she got diabetes and lost all that weight, she’s chubby there lolol now she’s got ketosis and is eating her own muscles coz she’s starving inside… i’m not sure how much longer she’s going to live that’s for sure, and it will break my husband’s heart, she’s daddy’s little girl….
The best way to avoid “sick atmosphere” is to eat carrots!
Cracking shot, love the textures
och, facts can be disregarded, because they can change, it’s only truth that can’t be disregarded, i have no respect for facts either…
my last dog, a toy poodle named crissy, lived for 20 years!!! and even then i had to put her to sleep coz people were starting to call me cruel for letting her have no quality of life
i don’t know how long she would have lived if i hadn’t put her down, because her and i had a VERY special and close friendship, and i know she was sticking around to take care of me, and man oh man did it hurt when she died, more than i could have ever believed possible
Oh, you poor thing!
I think your guardian angel would love to be your imaginary friend, to be honest! You probably have more than one!!
If the imaginary does not put yoghurt in our mind, well, that’s cool and actually what is a photoblog except an imaginary super friend healing what has to be within us ? Amen & thanks to our imaginary buddies
)
So my chicken noodle soup didn’t work? Dang it!
How about ice cream?
xo
Have a great weekend Sera!
all my kisses,
Kira
Hey Sera, how you doin? Still sickie? Get well soon:)
i know right!!! my dog can hear people outside when we can’t AND AND she can tell if they are bad or not lol i better try and comment on some blogs before i conk out like i did last night, this getting up at 6 in the morning is just a bad case of flibbertyjibbietitis
alllllllthough, there was an olympics party going on two doors down, with some moron that kept screaming ‘whooooohooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!’ over and over and over and over, and the bass from the music was rumbling my walls and ribcage, and my DOG slept thru it lol
Maybe that’s exactly why we ‘imagine’ them. Maybe they are our ‘guradian angels’???
Feel better soon!!!
i love figure skating, and women’s gymnastics, you know, those floor routines, it’s so stupid that the olympics are HERE and i can’t even watch them on tv lol
i’m not sure if i ever had an imaginary friend. anyway, i hope you are doing well now seraphine.
those trees look like they’re taking a nap.. which is exactly what i’m thinking of doing now..
very nice shot..
Fantastic shot – velvet trees! Although I admit they look a bit like green fingers poking out of the earth! Get well!!
I like your image with the moss and green grass! I hope your guardian angel helps you get completely better fast!
imaginary friend?! i had whole imaginary worlds. if a thing is worth doing, it’s worth overdoing, i always say. get better Sera. i’m off to eat some nice healthy carrots from the farmer’s market for you. very sweet and yummy.
trees with fur. cozy.
Ha ha, I loved that close, “Can you wiggle your toe?”
I never had imaginary childhood friends. Though, sometimes I wonder if my real friends are imaginary when they seem nowhere to be found.
