Well-meaning people tell me I should eat fish. My being a vegetarian seems to bother them. But no, I don’t have to eat fish. Omega-3 fatty acids are available in DHA or EPA supplements made from plant-based algae. Omega-3 is also available in eggs. So there.
Everyone knows that some young bucks among the epicures, by continually dining upon calves brains… have little brains of their own, so as to be able to tell a calf’s head from their own heads; which, indeed, requires uncommon descrimination.
Quotation from Herman Mellville, Moby Dick

At least you’ve been spared from cod liver oil – childhood’s bane when some of us were young.
i’m a failed vegetarian lol i failed twice, mostly coz i don’t cook i guess… love the cucumber eyes in sera’s head
Eat whatever you like and stay beautiful and smart!!! That which you are already.
Love your use of selective color here! And, as a fellow veggie, keep taking those plant based omega-3s and to heck with what those flesh eaters say! (And really, how smart are those trout – they seem to end up on someone’s dinner plate a lot!)
They have beauty spas in second life? You know how to live, Seraphine. Eat your vegetables!
Great work on this one tonight! I like the cucumbers and facial treatment! Very funny!
Don’t fish have a three-second memory? How can they be good for the brain?
very nice shot, love the light
u don’t need to eat fish , u can eat cucumber
btw i love the light u catched in the forrest
have a nice day
Seraphine doesn’t need all that ! She is perfect !!
If I ate all the recommended foods and took every recommended supplement I’d be the size of a house and end up with complications from all the pill complications. I’m smarter than that – with or without Omega-3.
Love the cucumber slices!
ha ha .. I am on Omega-3 for 2 years
) I even do not know why I am taking them
) To be smarter, I guess
Hahaha very funny, great images!
Lovely contra jour shot at the top.Avocados have Omega three. No shortage of them in California
hehhehe
You are fun!
You can also get them from flax seed and primrose oils.
Fish sounds tastier than DSA or EPA, butr I agree we should eat less meat and fish.
It’s not what we eat that makes us ill… it’s what’s eating us. (At least that’s what an 87 year old doctor told me once.)
I was vegetarian for 15 years, not even eggs. And people think I’m normal… well mostly..
My favourite is when people tell me they are Vegetarian, but eat chicken. I suspect they might be better off trying the Vegetarian fish instead (just for the Omega-3s).
Flax seed (which I used to like with my oats) are high in Omega-3s – so you don’t need to eat fish.
