I’m So Lost…

If I spy some skittles, I’m on my way – but that could be one hell of a long trip.
And, hey, you’re never really lost. You always know exactly where you are. It’s getting to where you want to go that poses the problem.

Don’t depend on GPS. I think it makes things worse.
And try not to get too frustrated with unplanned side trips… they can actually be a good thing, sometimes.
    Skittles, however, are PERFECT.

I have NO sense of direction either. The only way I can remember a way is by the stores around or other landmarks. And I can’t read a map.

It’s not too bad in Canada actually because streets are straight and perpendicular. It’s hell in Europe with all the twists and turns though.

(The top picture is really cool!)

Wow…the red in the sky and the signal contrasts so well with the almost mono buildings…the light and composition are exquisite…a lovely dusky mood! Great work!

If you follow the directions given you’ll find yourself back where you began – with half a dozen skittle rich right behind you :-)

The photograph truly is a beauty.

Very nice street shot, lovely light.

I have no sense of direction either, and also a baaad short term memory, so even landmarks i forget… but the sense of direction, you know what it’s like? it’s like i can feel the world spinning and forever taking me off course…. love the area sera ends up in from going in a circle haha…

There are two solutions Seraphine, intuition: you have and GPS if the battery is recharged!
    Excellent! Original et drôle!

The GPS has always worked well for me. There are times when it takes you the long route outbound, then the shorter route back home. But I will be on the lookout for Skittles!!!:)

Hahahaha…very funny your image and messages. I’m sorry but i like skittles so the probability to find is low because i stop to eat them :) )) About the image : great color of sky, i like the light on that building! Excellent work again!

I’m good with landmarks, horrible with street names!

This is a beautiful shot! Very interesting site too… I really like the comic strip. It is so original!

I don’t think you need a sense of direction. Just a good understanding of where you are. I hate when I don’t have my bearings.

Very good see! This is a beautiful shot.

Usually, I am pretty good with orientation, but am pretty much disoriented since arriving in Madrid – I still have difficulty finding North.

As for most people’s directions … well, they usually suck because they often omit important details (such as, “turn right and go one block”, when they really should have said, “tunr right, walk about 3 blocks, if you haven’t passed the 7-11, you haven’t gone far enough”)

you so cute, seraphine. problem with those skittles tho; they gone by the time I get lost.. or is it, once they’re gone, I feel so damn lost?

  19. eva baila

It’s the same for me !!
Have a good day Sera !

    Skittles? Mmmmm.

  22. Erik Tjallinks

In general men are better in finding their way than women. Yesterday my son (12) said: I know a good joke. Let’s have fun and get lost! You don’t know how to get lost? Then come with me. I’ll show you the way.

  23. matthew

LOL! Skittles trail huh? i have never seen one before so i guess it would make it obvious its you. Good choice.
