They are called hot offices because you book them in advance for a confidential meeting – when you’re in the hot seat - otherwise it’s all in to muck together in the shared common area- bosses included – where you can hear everyone else’s conversation if you want . But you don’t need to send so many emails or memos- because you hear everything first hand. Sera – please take a sickle next Monday coz you only 3 left this year! When I worked with large Aussie companies with USA subsidiaries we were all amazed to see the divisions between executives/ supervisors and staff and their offices you have.
