Sadly, the global supply of swine flu vaccine won’t be able to meet demand. The health care industry will sell into market demand, so the vaccine will disproportionately reach those wealthy enough to afford it. Ultimately, it may prove poor public policy if the swine flu is allowed to flourish in overcrowded developing countries, where the disease could ultimately mutate into something even more deadly.
