I went to the Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs exhibit at the de Young museum yesterday.
Within a yard of the doorway, stretching as far as one could see and blocking the entrance to the chamber, stood what to all appearances was a solid wall of gold. For the moment there was no clue as to its meaning, so as quickly as I dared I set to work to widen the hole.

Beware the curse of the Mummy
Nice suspension bridge shot by the way.
It’s San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge, heading north. We call the fog “nature’s air-conditioning.” Thank you, Grouser!
Hmm…gonna have to check that out. Don’t really like going to San Fran but i can deal with it for a day.
I love this, but now won’t be able to get Steve Martin’s song, Funky Tut, out of my head for days.

Oh, how cool that you got to go. I had heard about that but had totally forgotten, so thanks for the reminder!
I would love to go see that but I literally can’t stand the lines and would have difficulty navigating the crowds.
Ah, thanks for posting the link. Just checked and they’ll be scheduling special “Access Days.” Maybe I will make it after all… Yay!
