I’m in the hospital tomorrow, so my comics might be irregular for a few days. Not that they are like “regular comics” anyway.
Surgeons usually fantasize about wild and improbable surgeries. Someone collapses in a restaurant, you splice them open with a butter knife, replace a valve with a hollowed out stick of carrot– but every now and then some other kind of fantasy slips in. Most of our fantasies resolve when we wake, vanished to the back of our mind, but sometimes we’re sure if we try hard enough– we can live the dream.

I am not quite sure I understand – you are in the hospital to have an enema?
This sounds unreal and a bit far fetched.
Whatever you have to do in the containment of the white walls (you must have a good reason) come home in one peace and with all laces tied neatly.

be well. hope things come out well…. couldn’t resist, what with the ‘enema’ joke…. back when i had my first child, women had to be shaved and enema’d just before birthing. like you didn’t feel rotten enough, they had to think of some way to make you MORE uncomfortable…… blessings, and a quick recovery
