The reform protestors were likened (by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad) to sports fans over-reacting to a lost soccer game.

The study showed that in two provinces where Mr. Ahmadinejad won a week ago, a turnout of more than 100 percent was recorded.

Amazing voter turnout. Hmm….
Juggling numbers is a great pastime – especially for politicians in power.
Love the “severed ties” bit.
We have to cheer on those brave protesters. Revolution isn’t easy when you have rocks and your enemy has guns.
I bet a revolution here would look a lot different from the last one..
Ya the government has already been planning for just such an event in this country. They know when they come for our guns that there will be unrest and the first steps have already been taken. Including the military cleanup of all generals who said they would not fire on american citizens. Any of them who said they wouldn’t were retired during the Clinton years. When they do come for our guns it will be the shortest insurrection in history. There will be military strikes on american citizens who will be labeled criminals. Once that is accomplished i highly doubt this country will remain a democracy for long.
