Girls just know this stuff: Keep your knees together. Don’t get drunk (in public). Dress with respect. Remember to write thank-yous.
“The Recently Deflowered Girl” – Illustrated by Edward Gorey (Joey deVilla’s Personal Blog) You say: Come to think of it, even ordinary lichee nuts make me dizzy.
In Gorean mythology it is said that there was once a war between men and women and that the women lost, and that the Priest-Kings, not wishing the women to be killed, made them beautiful, but as the price of this gift decreed that they, and their daughters, to the end of time, would be the slaves of men.

Would that be a ‘Veiled’ threat
There are too many rules, too much fine print and far too much cultural influence…all interfere with what is natural, instinctive and good.
A veiled Seraphine! I was laughing, then you were interrupted!! A late friend of mine used to say that an Olympic athlete is first given a Rule Book before participating in the games. “There is no rule book in life”, he said. Maybe there ought to be one rule, at least: to do something kind for another person one act at a time, and no fine print. lol Seraphine, for a good point as always that feeds the heart and not just the head.
Ahh, Mr Gorey, a man of many talents… most of which include drawing.
Hey , this is so creative and original. Bravo !
Yeah. Some women know that stuff.
My problem is that I spilled beer on my part of the rules that says not to drink in public.
I loved Sufism but couldn’t commit to Islam.
