   Why do men think that combination works? I’m sure that at least one woman in their lives has told them it doesn’t.

   (Often wonder when my face is in repose if it shows a vacant look – but do not want the paparazzi taking a shot in order to find out!)

   I have an answer (not THE answer) to the sandal question. My gramma bought my grampa some sandals. He came downstairs with sandals and black socks. My gramma said, “Um, no.” He said, “These things chafe my ankles.” She said, “I’ll take them back to the store then. Go put on your loafers.”

   Every time I see a man wearing socks with sandals, I want to tell him to return them and go put on loafers.

   Seraphine: You’ve obviously ignited a fashion nerve here! Hahaha!! Why is it that elderly men dress this way? I dunno. Also, why do these same men get lured into wearing Fluorescent Lime Green dinner jackets with socks and sandals. I can’t even think of any songs that come to mind in the rock genre’ to “accessorize” this! )))
