Trust involves risk, and is always dangerous. Depending on others leaves you vulnerable. But defensively assuming the worst in people will only bring out the worst in them. You have to be an optimist to trust someone.

If you never risk you never gain. Its a truth that sometimes leads to pain but the rewards are worth it. Life is already full of pain so whats a little more when there is a chance for a great reward.
It´s trust…we have to trust someone…but it doesnt mean that we will trust forever…things may change…
Trust and faith require risk … but I too prefer to trust until given a reason not to. And I agree with Kirafashion … it may not mean forever … things DO change.
Part of the human dilemma is that we generally do not fully accept who we are. We bind ourselves by judging ourselves harshly and projecting that judgement onto others.
Trust is the absence of fear.
