Is there a word to describe when two people have the same thought simultaneously?
We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world.
Quotation from Budda
If I supply you with a thought, you may remember it and you may not. But if I can make you think a thought for yourself, I have indeed added to your stature.
Quotation from Elbert Hubbard
Don’t think. Thinking is the enemy of creativity. It’s self-conscious, and anything self-conscious is lousy.
Quotation from Ray Bradbury

My mum and me even had the same dream in the same night twice. Is there a word for that? I think depending on how often these things happen and how meaningful the connection is, it does mean that your souls are related, your subconsciousness closer together.
My close friend and I frequently do that. And, of course, happen to believe we are both brilliant.
I heard Dr. Phil say this last week: “Whatever we believe about ourselves, we generate the results we think we deserve.” Not that I watch Dr. Phil. (Yes I do.) (No I don’t.) (Sometimes, I do.) (No, I don’t.) (Sometimes . . . )
How many times do you pick up the telephone to call someone or someone calls you and you or your friend say, “I was just thinking about you”?
lvoe the Budda quote. So true.
and the corollary to that is if we change our thoughts we change the world.. so I think we should find whoever’s thinking up the weird stuff and stop them.
Ray Bradbury… Eck… I think he also said, “When writing, throw brevity out the window and use as many words as you possibly can.”
Often simultaneously we feel the same emotions and share the same thought – to experience Simultaneous Collective Consciousness. Carl Jung was one who contended Art can not only alleviate or contain feelings of fear or anxiety but equally it can restore and heal.
Best wishes
I agree with everything except Ray Bradbury, the sci-fi author who is so forward-thinking he never learned to drive an automobile.
See, I would like to ask- why is it when two people are “thinking” the same thing- they never say ‘anything’.
Missed chances.
Lurve you
