I haven’t taken a luxurious, hot bath with candles in what seems like forever.
The economy went into freefall and is still falling, and we don’t know where the bottom will be until we get there, and there’s no sign that we are anywhere near a bottom.
Quotation from George Soros
Once we realize that imperfect understanding is the human condition, there is no shame in being wrong, only in failing to correct our mistakes.
Another Quotation from George Soros

But long hot bubble baths with candles are one of the few cheap(ish) pleasures left. Well, only cheap because I’ve got a teeny tiny bath.
We may have to go back to the days of heating water on coal ranges or similar to heat our bath water hmm. People managed in earlier, harder times. Maybe we just all need to rethink what is necessary and needful. These problems are not going away anytime soon and no bail out is going to cure the ills either. Batton down the hatches Sera … so your bath stays intact. Yes, I am Pisces … a March water baby.
Maybe George Soros should donate billions of his dollars to the stimulus plan.
The “bathtub” is draining of water faster than it can be filled. No plug or finger in the dike seem able to stop the downward flow.
(If I let myself panic, will it make things worse?)
The problem is interesting. Especially now that the american populous is used to its privileges and will not be willing to just deal with it like in the great depression. Oh no, this time around if things get that bad there will wholesale rioting and chaos. These are interesting times indeed. I just hope if that happens the targets will also include the jerkoffs who got us here. A little justice would be nice.
Now I want to take a bubble bath with candles. That’s what I was supposed to get from this, right?
I really like what you did with this subject. A lot. I probably say that a lot. But I do. Like what you do, I mean.
Finances and bathtubs. Only you, Sera. Only you.
Enjoy the bath – as long as you have hot water, it’s free! So is the air and feeling good on a sunny day.
It could be said things are just getting back to normal after a long, drunken party.
