Costa Rica, Part Three: Am I allowed to bring Carrion On Board?
on January 18th, 2009Now that airlines are charging for checked baggage, everyone is trying to store their luggage in the overhead bins. I liked the airlines better when they were regulated.
Since passenger deregulation in 1978, airline prices have fallen 44.9 percent in real terms according to the Air Transport Association.

If anyone wonders why the airlines are not doing well it is because flying has been made such an unpleasant and degrading experience.
Quotation from Keith Henson
I don’t visit my parents often because Delta Airlines won’t wait in the yard while I run in.
Quotation from Margaret Smith

The amount of stuff people pack into those overhead bins is mind-boggling.
Yet another fear of mine – that it’s all going to tumble out with a bit of turbulence.
Yes, it has become rather like sardines in a large tin can. I only do it if I absolutely have to. For me less is more – the less I have to lug around with me, the better I like it.
Flying (on planes) was once very cool but that was before most of the people I know now were born. In the past 8 years it’s been made so unpleasant that you really must be strongly motivated to get to a particular destination.
I noticed the same! But that said, carry-on are still restricted in a way since you can not bring liquid, anything sharp etc. on board. Flying is becoming a headache…
I don’t know who margaret smith is but I love her comment
It’s amazing how much one can bring into the plane to store is the overhead bins!!!
