I’m ok with flying. It’s the “unscheduled landings” that make me nervous. My attitude is don’t worry too much about what could happen, because most of the time there isn’t anything you can do but pray and try to survive.

I am always very attentive to the flight attendants’ spiel as to oxygen masks and flotation devices and yet, still fly with the belief, “What will be, will be.”
(And I now have a new found respect for my friend’s ornithophobia.)

The beginning song is wonderful also, a very excellent montage on fear.
I detest flying – but I do it as I know the odds of it going pear shaped are very small. It’s just that we are all convinced we are going to be the exception to the rule. Pack a small (blow up) rubber dingy in that extra large seat cushion.

I travel very often, but I hate airplanes!
