I have one eye on a goal, but my other eye wanders. It finds ideas to ponder and pieces of paper, interesting things on television, loading the dishwasher because we’re out of spoons. Can’t I put off Christmas until January?
20 Strategies to Defeat the Urge to Do Useless Tasks (Zen Habits)
If you hold a cat by the tail you learn things you cannot learn any other way.
Quotation from Mark Twain
We shall never have more time. We have, and always had, all the time there is.
Quotation from Arnold Bennett

Very interesting thought.
Arnold Bennett is totally correct. We certainly procrastinate our lives away.
Excellent graphics Sera. No, I actually mean it! (…as I always mean what I say, in one way or the other…)
The Swedish woman (Anna-Lys) just quit, sort of a pity. I liked her ways, her art presentations and other efforts. Now she is walking around the woods, smelling moss and other artifacts. Well, good for her – maybe we all should do that. As for me, I’m on for jury duty tomorrow, believe it or not….
… oh, why don’t you be a charming maiden and put a link to my blog on your “blogroll”. I believe it would strengthen my ego … amongst other things.
Great point!
This is not what I expected. Awesome work and thank you for your visit.
love today’s graphics – so beautiful
Fortunately we all different. Some like to be decisive and focused whilst others are easily diverted into interesting aspects along the way.
I once had a boss who hated priorities as he like tossing everything up in the air and changing direction if something was of interest whilst still expecting to meet all the regular deadlines.
He was a great person to work for except initially it was impossible to function properly as we never seemed to achieve anything and everyone was totally confused. Fortunately we arrived at a compromise as he let me determine priorities while he could mousy around with the great new ideas. After we agreed we subsequently enjoyed a very successful relationship with very good results, but it was hell before we finally figured it out.
Best wishes
Great quote from Twain.
I suffer of the same thing, procrastination, and being a perfectionist, a horrible combination. Love this comic!
These are such incredibly pretty graphics I don’t believe you ever procrastinate with the essentials of life. Whatever gets done is enough.
Procrastination like anything is fine in moderation. The key is to never regret it
Amazing one! Love your question: “Can’t I put off Christmas until January?” So can’t we?
I always want to make things perfect or as close to perfect as it can be! And that takes time… so I’m always with no time at all!
fantastic quote: “you can´t learn anything by bein perfect”….you are brillant!
did you write this one just for me?
PS… do I seem as cranky as my little hexagon guy? I hope not…
