I agree with Ronald Reagan on this one. The deficit is big enough, that as a matter of fact, it has to be “forgiven”. There is no way on earth that we as people can pay all this money back within reasonable time.

What measures/funds inherent in the current income streams from payroll levies, goods, services, property, estate and income taxes cover existing government services and how much more is needed to start earmarking funds for a sensible heath programme and to address future labiality deficits for social security and so on ?. Not nearly enough, but starting from that base and not the other way round of assuming you can still cut taxes and balance the budget will be neceassy if you’re ever going to be able to divest yourself of regonomics, no matter how unpalatable increased fiscal measure may seem. But I gather many don’t want to do that, and sure , eliminate waste and any duplication but bear in mind the USA has one of the lowest tax bases in the world. Still , some thnk its the best system in the world …..but for how many ?
