On the question of ‘natural selection’ congratulations on being featured so prominently in Runway magazine. By all accounts your viewed as a smart dynamic (little) cookie. I only use the word (little) relatively because I notice your Interviewer who waxed lyrically about you also said how surprising it was you didn’t fit the usual taller model mould mold.
On the question of evolution we certainly are a lot smarter in term of technology, science and in working out many complex problems. But in terms of societal, philosophical and harmonious relations with nature it’s apparent in many aspects we have scarcely evolved at all.

As to natural selection, i believe its going just fine. We as a species are destroying ourselves and when we are gone maybe a more sane race will spring up in our place. You never know. It seems mother nature got closer to the perfect creature to run the planet this last time so next time she just needs to cut out the insane combativeness and self destructive impulses in the strain and she will have managed it. I am completely disgusted with how we have manged this world and how we just keep plodding along like everything is just fine. I say good riddance to a race that can’t stop fighting and destroying everything in site long enough to solve basic issues like starvation and decent medical care for all. And don’t get me started on the over population. That crap is just damn stupid. We should already have all those things dealt with and be spreading into space to explore the vast universe but instead we are still barbarians with better toys.
For sure, when it refers to nature, sometimes we feel the same as the people of the stone age..

Not a believer in evolution, so I am not surprised people do stupid things.
Human evolution has been retarded by two things:
Medical science let’s us preserve the weak and the frail and those who would fail if we lived in the wild.
Compassion for morons prevents us from weeding out their ineptitude from the gene pool.
