The Runaway Runway Bag

This happened of a friend of mine. She loaded her groceries,
then drove off with her handbag still on top of the car.
Which begs the question: What did her bag say about her?

In fashion it’s good not to have too many principles.
Quotation from Ines De La Fressange

Never offend people with style when
you can offend them with substance.

Quotation from Tony Brown

p.s. I’m away for a few days.

Her bag probably said about her, “I’m pretty stylish, but a bit scattery.”

Have a wonderful few days away! You don’t happen to go to a music festival in Ireland, are you? Because if you are, I will see you there. :-)

It was a bag of rubbish I forgot to drop in the trashcan, actually…
I am sure you don’t want to hear the rest of the story.

Ah ha! A Lhamborghini for Seraphine? I should have known. Very cool! Yeah, I once placed a pair of shoes on the roof of my car to head off (where else?) to The Cobbler! I vaguely recall the “thump” of the shoes rolling off onto some boulevard as I sipped my coffee. I never recovered the loafers. Sorry I haven’t been by. The Geeks have my laptop for a major repair (under warranty!). That said, …MWAH! :)

What a shame about that fancy bag if you wouldn’t have been that alert! A grocery bag mostly isn’t that fancy, and not a pity either about the groceries for someone else has a good day with them, and your friend has learnt a lesson which is of advantage in her further life. Enjoy your days off, gives me the time to catch up with your cartoons!

I once forgot my wallet on top of the car, that was parked close to our apartment. Half hour later, a kind old lady came to give it to me, she had seen my ID with address on it. I was so lucky!

I used to carry a loon stuffed animal (christened Itsaloon) everywhere i went. One day while pumping gas i placed it on top of my car…i forgot all about it. Fortunately Itsaloon was safe and sound when i got home.
