“What’s a rain tornado?” I asked.
It’s a tornado that’s obscured by the
rain and wind. You won’t see it coming.

“The sky breaks.
It sags and breathes upon my face.
In the presence of mine enemies, mine enemies,
The world is full of enemies.
There is no safe place.”
Poem by Anne Sexton, Noon Walk on the Asylum Lawn

*swoon* you´re quoting anne sexton. I love her poetry.
I have, indeed, never seen a tornado in Manhattan, but we did once get caught in one in upstate New York, and I think that ought to count.
That’s the real reason why I live so close to Manhattan.
I don’t envy you, we never have tornados here (up to now, at least).
it seems a hollywood movie!
a kiss!!!
Holy cow. At least in the Midwest where everything is flat, you can se a tornado coming. Scary stuff!
