Lol, i love that. "Do you eat anything?!" Haha. Sounds like your in for quite a time. I do find that people outside of california have distorted ideas about what we are like. Seems odd to me. Its not like i go to the south and expect them all to be racist inbreeders. Oh well what can ya do right? I wouldn't worry about fitting in. As long as you at least get along then no big. I personally never bothered with that particular worry. I just be me no matter where i go. If someone has a problem with that then too bad hehe. Well i hope you have a good time.

Erik. Address change cards? I find that intriguing, oddly enough.
Gary. I love your hopeful haiku.
Nova-san. Moving Omaha to LA is probably easier than LA to Omaha. I'm guessing.
October. England is pretty from the air.
Ras. I think one can add to the sisal ball! I'll do it for you.
Zhu. Californians are adoreable, yes. Adoptable, yes. Adaptable? Hmmm...

Don't forget to take a picture!

My haiku for you:

Oh sisal twine ball
winds of time (and corn) will howl
you will sustain hope

Wow... Kansas.... I used to live in Omaha, Nebraska of all places. It was when I was a kid, but it was still a traumatizing experience for a kid who grew up in Los Angeles. No offense to Kansas and its people... but it's WEIRD there. It almost feels like another country.

When you're flying into Kansas, you'll notice how incredibly flat the land is. It was certainly different from me, coming from New England where there's nothing but hills everywhere.

By the way, I didn't know you're a vegetarian too! So am I. I only eat fishies in SL since I'm a neko and all ;-)

Seraphine, I'm so sorry for having neglected you for such a long time!! I must say that some of your comics give some umbrage :) to people who pass my chair and look over my shoulders, although maybe it's just me who's afraid of it. Anyway I'm glad you paid me a visit and wanted to sleep on "my" clouds :). This time you are so right! All people have their peculiarities, a former friend of mine had a hobby: he collected address change announcements, just like other people collected stamps. He had address changes to and from Indonesia, the several provinces of the Netherlands, countries to and from Europe etc. I went to your link "the biggest ball of Sisal Twine" and saw they built some kind of chapel around it! Unbelieveable! It also says: "it still grows" and I thought does it live then? This must be from Mars. Well I hope your husband isn't offended by this comic, because parents-in-law are one of those things you have to deal with, like your own parents, you cannot choose them, who will reject a potential husband because of his parents? (Maybe later on you'll consider this question :). Thanks a lot and see you, and much pleasure in the countryside!
