Postcard from Kowloon

There’s an art to writing postcards. I’m terrible at
writing them. I either have nothing to say, or I
have too much to say. Mostly, I don’t have time
to write postcards when I’m having the most fun.

“And you undid the reins
and I undid the buttons,
the bones, the confusions,
The New England postcards,
the January ten o’clock night,
and we rose up like wheat…”

    LOL Sera,
as usual you take the word (or the toughts?) out of my mind!
I love to receive postcards but I’m terrible too!
    And guess why?
I have usually nothing to say (or ermmm, I don’t feel like sit & thinking about that while I’m too busy having fun!!!)

    :)

Great post-I always find postcards really hard to write it’s like I don’t know what to say in such a small space.

I’m not a big fan of postcards, i just don’t understand them. Normally they is nothing interesting to say that can’t be said when people come back, like “we’re in Italy and we’re having a great time”-well i knew you were going to Italy and you were expecting to have a good time or you wouldn’t have gone right?

Well at least if they’re kidnapped, thanks to the postcard, you will know the past place they were at to inform the authorities of course lol.

I love receiving postcards, and strangely, I love writing them as well. I even write postcards to myself whenever I’m on a trip somewhere.

Oh, I tried the link to the Temple University Postcard Project, and it doesn’t work. :-(

Hmmm. I like post cards off to friends after morning coffee because I try to picture the expression of friend’s faces after they open their mail box! Of course, one from Seraphine would be very cooll!!!!:D

It’s still down. I heard someone from this project interviewed on CBC. Interesting.

Today is Tuesday and we are going to Belgium, Luxembourg and Holland. Wish you were here.
