Ummm, that's a rather intense image you have there. Maybe a 15 to 20 year marriage is an amazing accomplishment, not a failure to be forever...

Robin Williams is getting divorced from his second wife after nineteen years of marriage.

When the comedians can't find anything to laugh at anymore, what hope is there for the rest of us?

I love that the marriage comic has pictures of your avatar posted in a "dead" scene ... which I also own!

I think finding love and falling in love is much easier than having faith in that love. People often have a hard time trusting and believing in another person, even if they love them.

Trust and honesty, that's what's needed for love to last

When I was a kid, I never understood the syntax of "'til death do us part." It means, of course, "until death separates us from each other," but as a child it was one of those odd phrases that seemed to mean something but I couldn't quite tell what it was. Until death does what? It had the rhythm of sense, but its meaning came from ritual and repetition. Now I'm older, and I understand these things better.

Since I am not in a LT relationship with anyone except my education if that can count. I am learning that truth and honest is a key ingredient.....plus all those things that one considers wholesome or sexy to them (if only to be a distraction).

I like the memorable quote from Captain Corelli’s Mandolin- Iannis ~ When you fall in love, it is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake, and then it subsides. And when it subsides, you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots are become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the desire to mate every second of the day. It is not lying awake at night imagining that he is kissing every part of your body. No... don't blush. I am telling you some truths. For that is just being in love; which any of us can convince ourselves we are. Love itself is what is left over, when being in love has burned away. Doesn't sound very exciting, does it? But it is !
Best wishes
