Fear certainly has taken deep root this decade in society, fear from attack which has been an excuse to curtail liberty, fear to offend which curtailed free speech, fear of the markets as banks can no longer trust one another, cumulatively those fears have resulted in a world wide phenomena for Governments to pass onerous new laws which curtail freedom and to have unintended consequences If we were only kind to one another, and to trust others we would no longer be so fearful as to what might happen.

We should try to stick as much as possible to kindness and equality tough it’s not always possible.
And try to judgind ourselves and the way we behave should be our priority rather than judging the others.

Eidur. If we live by example and do the right thing, yes.
Jen. I always took this to mean All Men Are Created Equal Under the Law, that one person or one group shouldn’t be singled out and treated differently. I don’t think it means all are created with the same abilities.

I love these panels - very meaningful. I sometimes think that we’ve evolved to (mostly) see the planet as one eco system now, with global warming, ocean changes, space stations looking down etc. We also see it as one economic system, for better or worse… Now it’s time to see it as one human system, with all related, all worthy of compassion, humour and basic necessities. Human rights for all!
