Peer-to-Peer

Derek told me to install SoulSeeker so he could
upload some modeling photos to me, but I freaked
when my computer kept asking if I wanted to allow
complete strangers past my firewall. I didn’t…

    I don’t wanna know what’s in Derek’s computer…
Btw, that’s exactely why I quit using peer-to-peer.
I am not a sys-admin, and I cannot afford to lose my time to “perfect-fit”/setup my router firewall to download from peer-to-peer while keeping me protected.
It’s much more safer to have a limited balance credit card and buy your music from the russians, I think.
Hope you found that jacket Sera…
Try to ask the russians, it’s unbelievable what they can do for you! :P

Heehee…good friend. He could have just used something like sendspace.com instead.

soul seekers leads to dough seekers…

One of my older computers was on death watch from all the stuff in it, so I had a geek clean it out. He told us that all the staff in his shop gathered to cheer as our PC passed the standing record for number of viruses and illegal bits - it finally pooped at at near 18,000, passing the original record by 6,000! So many seeking the soul.

Ha ha! I had only read the first frame, “A friend told me to install a P2P program called Soulseeker” and I KNEW it was Derek before I read his name. I think he’s used it successfully in the past. Sorry you had that problem. I took Soulseeker off my computer too.

“Soulseeker”??? sounds like a weirdo lost in the subway…
What’s wrong with jpeg attachements through email or putting up a quick website with all the pics.
    Sometimes people startle me.

Music corporations devastated P2P systems. When they found out they cannot fight legally, they just manufactured a hell lot of viruses to spread through the network.

Dandellion. Music companies will one day listen to what people want and save the music industry through innovation, right?
Eidur. The Russians have figured how to please the consumer better than the record companies have.
Gary. I love it. I love dubious records.
Marin. Yes, Derek says he never had a problem with it.
October. Sendspace? I’ll check it out. Thank you!
Zee. Derek took about 1,000 photos. It’s too many to send efficiently via email, with any quality.

  8. Jacky C. Says:

P2P…full of viruses. I cannot afford these kinda things…I have too many important files in my computer! (ie. my sex photos with Lindsay Lohan, my snorting pictures with Nicole Richie)…this is too random. Lack of sleep.
Anyways, I really enjoy your comics and feel that we’ve had somewhat of a blog connection for a long enough time to link you. Good night.

  9. Carolina Lange Says:

I had the same problem with Soul Seek! And I had to remove it too!

  10. dandellion Kimban Says:

No Sear, one day we’ll cut the middleman off. :)

    Sorry for the mistype :(
