A Time of Misdirection: The Downfall of Eliot Spitzer
I was saddened to hear the news
about New York Governor Spitzer
yesterday. He was someone I admired.
“Ultimately a hero is a man who would argue with
the gods, and so awakens devils to contest his vision.
The more a man can achieve, the more he may be
certain that the devil will inhabit a part of his creation.”
Quoted from Norman Mailer, The Presidential Papers

I haven’t heard the news about the New York Governor. It definitely sucks when you find something bad about someone you looked up to. On the bright side, your artwork looks great as always. The quote’s also great.

Maybe he was simply doing research instead of the hooker! Or maybe he’s into sting operations and feels spanking is as good as a sting.
Another one bites the dust. Now he’ll probably even talk about prayer and God.
Do I sound cynical? I actually do feel sorry for his stoic-looking wife who has to stand there while he waves his ego (and other things) around.

Now I’m not from the states obviously, and don’t really understand the whole governor thing but it was rather depressing seeing that sort of thing on the morning news for someone who was such a respected and admired man to be accused of such a thing =/ =/

it is weird how destiny plays tricks on you
maybe I’m cheap - but I would never ever pay $4000 an hour to trott down the avenue with a hot chick.
What was the man thinking? I guess he was thinking not …
