Not to be gross, just to contribute to the food chain. I would like to grow back up as nice grass and have some cows chew on me for a while, or to be a fruit tree, or even to be flowers where a honeybee might get some pollen or nectar. When all that's left is bones, the remains are moved into a mausoleum, or a crypt. The dead outnumber the living by far to much, so the real estate has to be balanced out accordingly if we're to avoid a vast desert of markers for the fallen.
