Lump Day
Most mammals hibernate in some way. Hibernation is a state of inactivity
and metabolic depression (bears can lose forty percent of their body weight
during the winter by sleeping). What’s your Hibernation Inducement Trigger?
“Sleep, ignorant of pain,
sleep, ignorant of grief,
may you come to us blowing softly,
kindly, kindly come king.”
Quotation from Sophocles, Philoctetes

I usually got this days after writing a lot, but i only write when nobody is around.
I think I’m becoming a hermit.

I love being in hibernation. That is one of the best things winter brings to us. Just being. Listening the sound of a happy brain inside the scull.

No pain, lots of gain when you’re you…
I sometimes disappear for a couple of days, usually somewhere quiet. Just uplug. Well, I always have a book and something to write with. Enjoy your retreat.

Thanks for all those new words (for me)! I don’t know the hibernating feeling, it’s too busy in my head and around me. I don’t know if I should be glad about it, or not. Maybe death is eternally hibernating, if that’s the case then it’s not frightening that much.
