When It’s Not Fool’s Gold
Can you think a better definition of Love
than Caring about the Happiness of Another?
Cultivating Real Love (Psychology Today)
“It’s true love because
If he said quit drinking martinis but I kept on drinking them
and the next morning I couldn’t get out of bed,
He wouldn’t tell me he told me.”
Poem by Judith Viorst, “True Love”

Aw yes, it is how much you’re willing to give of yourself as much as unconditionally possible that defines LOVE huh?
I love this comic regarding this new silly Fool’s Gold movie. Who cares if it sucks right as long as you’re with someone you care about? I’ve watched plenty of films I didn’t want to in order to please a good friend or my soulmate.
Love baby, love! L’amour…

it doesn’t matter what i’m watching or what i’m doing as long as it’s with someone that i love or respect highly…who makes me feel happy for being me

“There’s beauty in the silver singing river, there’s beauty in the sunrise in the sky, but none of these and nothing else can match the beauty, that I remember in my true love’s eyes”

I enjoyed your poem so much I gave it an airing in a follow-up post. Others must have liked it because two people actually came up with their own poems about poo. What have you started?!
LOL, it’s what dogs do, is poo.
It’s not their fault, it’s you…
What’s an owner to do?
Nature’s a natural loo-
Dogs were here first, that’s who.
Even if that’s not true,
They can’t help it if they poo.
What’s an owner to do?

Reminds me of Dido and Aeneas. Says Aeneas to Dido: I have to leave for my war duties are waiting for me. Says Queen Dido: Oh please, don’t leave, I want you, I need you! Says Aeneas: OK, then I’ll stay with you. Says Dido: Oh no, go and leave, because your first thought was leaving me, I can’t bear that! Oh no, I’ll stay says Aeneas, Oh, do leave, says Dido. (They actually sing this in the opera of their name by Henry Purcell). In the end Dido kills herself and sings the famous aria “Remember me, but forget my fate!” I like the two girls’ attitude better! How do you imagine all these stories together, Seraphine!
