The Undistilled Spirit

By dripping
small amounts of
me is it
possible
to distill
something essential?

“Light is meaningful only in relation to darkness, and truth
presupposes error. It is these mingled opposites which people
our life, which make it pungent, intoxicating. We only exist in
terms of this conflict, in the zone where black and white clash.”

Quotation from Louis Aragon, Preface to a Modern Mythology

“The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
Quotation from The Bible, Mark 14:38

**This is Comic #250. Thank you for visiting, YO!**

    Light of life’s great teacher

    Away from the darkness
    To the light of love

Garlic, sage - what was the other one?
I should be save - I love those two. Don’t know about sacrifice though.
Your stuff makes me addicted, like a junkie, after only two posts I’ve seen. Terrible, the sun will never set without you!
Thanks for the haiku on my blog. It created enough turmoil in my soul to water the sage plant in the studio; my chicken-breast will have garlic seasoning tonight before being served.
At some point (in the very long future) I will bother you to explain me what program you use for your graphics.
Stay alert - and stay well.

    You’re amazing!

I haven’t seen my daughter for a week or so. Today when she moved back in with me, she told me she had written a new song (vocal/pianist) and played it for me. It’s an amazing, somewhat fantasy-like song, about a girl named Seraphine…

I showed her your site and it’s uncanny how much this song might resonate for you. If I can record it somehow, I will.

  17. R.T. Says:

Hey Sera, I’m pissdrunk right now, i’m goign to ReCongragulate you, just fuckin’ because.

Oh… ok, I’m going ot go black out now.

  18. Erik Tjallinks Says:

It’s never too late for getting pure, you can also be pure when having experienced all kinds of impurities (look at St. Augustin). Imprisonment like this (not together with crooks and criminals) will help to become pure. No need for masks, vinegar, garlic, cats etc. (I hope you don’t think I want you in prison, on the contrary!)
