That’s also why radio reporters are always so detailed about the queen’s clothing at official occasions. On TV the audience can see it, and the reporter only gives the highlights, and who made the design. On radio he is very detailed to feed people’s fantasy. They want to hear about a genuine Queen with a crown on her head and a royal mantle. In the Netherlands the queen has replaced the crown by a huge hat she is always wearing in public (the Dutch king or queen has no crown to put on, the crown remains on its cushion, I don’t know why).

Musilim girls in Quebec have been kicked out of soccer and karate competitions for ‘improper uniforms’. It seemed like discrimination as in this running case. No benefit to the athelete or danger to competitors…. I’ve heard people laugh about these girls and those who wear burkinis. While I don’t care for any religion too much myself, I respect everyone’s right to express themself as they wish. No harm, no problem.
On the other hand, a large winter overcoat with mittens can be an exciting image for a Canadian guy

I recall that story and What she had on was not bad or anything. It was still appropiate… And then I thought about the lovely Flo-Jo who made statements with her outfits and long fingernails.
