The Escape Plan
Everything should have an escape plan. It’s not planning for
failure, it’s acknowledging we don’t always get what we want.
“Like all other pleasures immoderately enjoyed, the
excesses of hope must be expiated by pain; and
expectations improperly indulged must end in disappointment.”
Quotation by Samuel Johnson, in a Letter written in 1762.

This blog is way more existentialist than mine could ever dream of being! HOOHOO!
Somehow, when it’s all going well, and we think we’ve mastered our own domain, we must be prepared for the fall right? Is that being too cynical? I would hope not, but reality can be so draining and so hurtful at times.
Oh, how I feel like Sera frequently, although not today thank God.

I knew there was a good reason to borrow trouble. I’m not defeatist. I’m ACKNOWLEDGING.

Read the English dialogue with the «machine», for the rest you can try the translation (shity) tool on the right side of my blog: link.
A fine blog concept, very cybergoth/cyberpunk!

IT’S DISAPOINTING ==> “the
excesses of hope must be expiated by pain” ==> but it’s so true too…*sighs*
