I hate anything that encourages personal responsibility.
I cannot determine the value of an action because I am
blind to the consequences. I’m tempered by selfishness.
“Nothing is worth doing unless the consequences may be serious.”
Quotation from George Bernard Shaw, Hypatia, in Misalliance

Seraphine, je te souhaite à toi et tous ceux que tu aimes de très joyeuses fêtes de fin d’année !
big kiss !
Grat work.
I try not to be blind of consequences but no matter how you think about them, they are often unforseeable. And it’s pretty useless when in the end your choices are based on your instinct for the most.
That’s why I often wonder why I keep trying to “look forward” for the consequences of my actions if then in the end it’s my “instinct” that weights most on the choices I make.
Probably, a “professional deformation”.
Or just a zodiacal enlightement?
Wow, what a statement quote! It really matches your thoughts on this comic…
big kiss to you
^^
A serious set of frames…
A story that may or may not have any relevance. So be it.
Frank, a friend of mine, died of brain cancer a few short years ago (leaving his wife Lauire and 3 small kids). Near the end of his life he talked a lot of his adventures, which were many (war surgeon, explorer, sailed solo around the world, two families and six children and more). I asked him if he had any wisdom to share. (We weren’t always so serious that final year…)
He said two things that might seem contradictory sometimes, but I understood.
He first said, “Don’t be afraid to do anything you really want to – just do it.” Then he said, “In the end all that matters to me is the time I spent with the people I love.”
hmmm…im always paranoid about consequences…so yes, in a way, im a goody-two-shoes… but then again…
“I hate anything that encourages personal responsibility.” Makes me feel that this is the motto of a few certain celebs today. It’s hard to make a choice and own up to responsibility but when it leads to maturity and a stronger person. I always adore coming here, your comics are so insightful.
excellent.. nice post…. take care dear…
