I love this one! Although, I have to say, I would have absolutely no objection being calledskinny!!

But you are right about how sometimes the inner person does not match up with their outward appearance. I have a stepsister who is struggling very hard with an eating disorder, and she was never more OUT of control then when she was at her (very frightening) skinniest. And, interestingly, once she started eating she then gained about 60 pounds in two months and became a compulsive eater, and she was then she was considered overweight. Still basically the same amount of out of control , just in the other direction.

So I guess you never know when you just look at people.

Stunner. Agreed! Staying healthy is so important.
Self-image is important too, and that's many people's undoing.

Bettina. Do you have those out-of-body experiences frequently? :-P
Dandellion. I like dressing according to how I feel.
Gary & Susan. The eyes are more reliable than the mirror.
GW. I love your comments about how we perceive ourselves and each other. How we look says something about us but how it's we perceive that determines our character and worth.
R.T. I din't cut anybody down. Din't mean to.
Thanks Jessica, Kalai, Rags, Eidur & everyone. HUGS!

Once someone is comfortable with their body and they are healthy, then people should not pressure them to change their body!

Zombie thin, eh? Sounds ta me like someone wrote a comic to cover up their insecurities by cutting down an image that society has created. Regardless, wimmenz with a good layer o' meat be the good ones, it prevents bruised pelvises. Never met a skinny lady I liked, except fer soup bones o' course. Don't take much skinnin for 'dems.

very nice, Sera

Wouldn't it be interesting to live in a world without mirrors so we could only see ourselves in the eyes of others?

So many people get confused and think that we are our bodies- but I guess it is hard for some to see beyond that. I have days when I feel like I am my body, but on others, I'm not.

I love the drawing in this comic, particularly love the bottom left image- beautiful.
