How to Fall

Dictate your own path without fear and self-criticism.

“I have a box containing angst, pain, and self-loathing.
I wear it on my head like a sort of diving bell, so I can breathe…”
Quotation from Hamster’s Box of Angst, Pain, and Self-Loathing

“My fear… is my substance, and probably the best part of me.”
Quotation by Franz Kafka, in a Letter to Milena Jesenská

    Cool.

My daughter wrote a song called Jump In. It’s somewhat whimsical but is about falling.

And if you want to know it all
Close your eyes, hold your nose - and fall.

A favorite Buddhist story: A man is standing on a tiny ledge above an abyss holding tightly to two clumps of grass that are being eaten by rats. Next to his head is a strawberry plant with one bright red fruit. What to do? Enjoy the strawberry and let go.
