Free Love
What is the true nature of Love?
Thank you North for assistance with this comic.
The promise quote is, of course, from Shakespeare’s ‘The Merchant of Venice’.
This comic was pledged in Photoshop CS2.
Yesterday’s comic was Workplace Coffee.
Tomorrow is comic #150.

Only a free person, free of mind, free of prejudices, can truely love freely. You have to build your freedom alone, it’s not Love that sets you free.

Love is a consequence. The more you feel free, the stronger you will love.
But one way or another, it always end to “cage” us somehow.
If you can be happy in a cage, it’s another question. I can
(my mind will always run free)

Wow sera…I cannot even begin to put my comments on this one…
Freedom in Love- still comes at a price..At least it does-did for me…Although I was and am Free
to love- I am still chained by the rejection.

At this point in my life I’m not so sure love sets you free. And as Callie commented above, I am still chained by the rejection. However…there is hope. I am free to try again, and again, if that’s what it takes. (and I’m having a great time trying right now )
As always Sera, your comics are appropos and thought-provoking.
Hugs!

Love is never free, there is always something given in return for it- time, sacrifice, etc. Great job as always getting us to think deeper! Have a great weekend!

‘But one way or another, it always end to “cage†us somehow’
I agree with Eidur…
If we are true in our love, then we feel that this cage is also free for us with our loved one near…
Love needs something given in return, i think it needs care and affection….

we mostly cage ourselves by having expectations.
love isn’t about making deals.
it is itself and nothing more.
