I like to think people look for the good in one another, the one truly special thing that endears one’s heart forever. But for most people, there has to be an initial attraction, whether it is personality or looks or reputation or something else.
Everyone has an attractive physical trait: beautiful hair, slender fingers, penetrating eyes, a clever angle of the chin, muscles, lips, laugh lines, great legs- but it takes some maturity to recognise that beauty.

What do men want? I really am not sure….but I think my poor bloke kinda got a little more than he can handle………:)

Seriously, it is part true about looks, but I also think of the saying beauty in the eye of the beholder…and I know for myself there is no way, no matter how drop dead gorgeous a man is, if what’s in the heart and mind and soul and values isn’t sincere and of my kind of quality preference….I don’t want any kind of relationship…it’s a tricky one, but I am a firm believer on inner beauty always shines through.

I seem to have read somewhere that attractiveness is a sign of health (and lack of hereditary birth defects); therefore, it’s natural for humans to want to mate with the most attractive person available, in order to continue the species.

That doesn’t make it suck any less.

Well, english people says “You never get a second chance to make a first impression”.
That is so true, mostly because only intelligent people have the bravery to change their ideas and mind often about people. Lots people just prefer to “categorize” the others after a glance. I think that falling in the “hot” category can help to get in touch with people. Even with bad ones of course.
So I think that men want hot women, yes. And the problem is not why, but for what? I’d say mainly for sex. Then if there’s some brain left, the better. Another interesting thing is that SL speaking we can chose how we look, we don’t need to cope with that. A dear friend once told me: “this is a place where you can chose how you look. So if you choose to look ugly, then you are. Inside” I’m still thinking about that!
