Do you believe in Miracles? Is the power of a Miracle already inside of us?

The Love I have, the Love I give, the Love I receive each and every day feels like tiny miracals to me.

Katrina, Love itself is a miracle, no?
It’s maybe not such a tiny miracle.
    You are a gift. /hugs

You want a miracle? Examine your own self, then, and see a miracle! The miracle that is your life, your body, your very existence!

Every moment that you draw breath, the air you breath is automatically filtered at the molecular level within the lungs, and there an exchange between the millions upon millions of cells of your blood and the filtered air, as Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is removed from each cell, and then those cells breath in the life giving Oxygen (O2) from the lungs, before those same cells flow out and away frmo the lungs on pre-determined courses throughout the body through infintesimally small capillaries and enormous arteries as the blood cells give the life-giving oxygen they carry within to the rest of the body: they give to the muscles, so that you may walk, they give to the mouth, the tounge, the lips, the diaphragm and larynx (voice box) so that you may talk and sing and convey thought and ideas, and they give that same gift of oxygen to the brain, so that it may think and you can have thought to command the muscles to walk, thought to command the diaphragm to pump air, thought to control the larynx so that sound may be made, thought to manipulate the tongue to conterol the sound and thought to manipulate the lips to shape it into words. All of this happens before once again the blood comes round for another load of oxygen, and then you may do the same action again and again.

…The point of all of this? You are a miracle, love is a miracle, life is a miracle, hope is a miracle, thought is a miracle. The problem with the world lies not that we are lacking in miracles, but that we have blinded ourselves and jaded our hearts to reality, and so now we say “We want something new!” and we think, ‘Breathing, thinking, speaking, living? Those are all a given; we take those for granted. They’ve been around for so long, they therefore are going to continue, whether we like it or not. Now we’re bored with what we have because we already have it: show us something, give us something new, and then something else new! We already have life, why should we bother making the most of it? All I want is something new, because, quite frankly, I, WE, are BORED!’.

Change your perspective. Open your eyes, and then open them again. See with the thought that everything is not what it seems, but is instead constituated of something smaller and and greater! The table is made of wood, but the wood is made up of wood molecules, and the molecules are made up of atoms, which are made of neutrons and protons and electrons, and then those are made of quarks, and even those are made of something even smaller. And then you look again, and start in wonder at the sudden realization of the fact that the table hasn’t fallen apart into trillions of peices, or that it hasn’t exploded in a massive fireball from the sheer amount of energy scarcely contained in each individual atom. Then you look again with a look of awe on your face as you realize that there is NO WAY that many little pieces, that much sheer POWER could be contained and kept into the form it makes to create the table and allow it to exist for even a single moment!

There IS a GOD. Anyone who says otherwise is blinding themselves from the facts that are all around us, or perhaps are merely ignorant.

    That’s all for now…

We already have life, why should we bother making the most of it?
I like this question, even if it *is* meant rhetorically. Thanks M.M. :)
